Just a quick one, Easter weekend here. Every where is Closed. I got Continenatal sport contact 26x1.3 tyres. A great tyre up till now. lol got a blow out this morning largh bit of glass. So both tyre and tube are beyond repair. I don't have a replacement tyre or tube. Lots of 26x1.5 tubes. I was thinking of butting on 26x1.5 tyre and tube on the rear wheel for the time being till the lbs open on Tuesday. This ok to do, or not.? front wheel is still 26x1.3 both wheels are at 75spi. looks a little funny but I live with that, Is it safe to use. ?
I found with my Conti Sport Contact tyres (1.3) they performed better around 90-95psi, however, I do understand the 75psi with the wider rear tyre at the moment. 🙂
