Don't know about that. I had the most imbecilic thing ever shouted at me
from a driver as I was cycling along perfectly normally in the /middle/ of
the long weekend: "Where's your helmet, you c*nt?".

Not as nice as "Oi mate, your back wheel's going round", is it?

As we cycled to Brighton on Saturday morning some kind sole suggested
that we get a car. It would not have been nearly so much fun Driving
from Hyde Park Corner to Brighton leaving at midnight as it was by bike
though.

Yes Burt, I reckon you're right.
Don't wan't to give all the details , because while to me they're exciting,
to others it's what happens when you ride a bike.
But, it was a particularly horrible, dangerous trip home from work
yesterday - mainly due to multiple female blind driver syndrome.

It's like when I cycled to Swindon - I could've driven but then I would've

It seems to be getting endemic. I was cycling along happily when a
coach drew alongside, then gradually oozed left, squishing me towards
the kerb. I flattered the Air Zound, I yelled, and still the [censored]
kept coming. As the kerb rapidly approached I came to a severe halt and
banged the side of the bus, and he scraped past and just disappeared off
into the distance. As I collected my scattered wits and tried to shed
the adrenalin, a passerby commented angrily, "What were you shouting
about? You should've been wearing a helmet." [censored].

I wonder how many MOTP think cycle helmets are compulsory?
