I got a pair of the Shimano R151 (2nd in the Shimano road range) from GB Cycles in the U.K the other day it took 3 days by air over easter to Melbourne for AUD $135 which includes express shipping. Normally AUD 280 in OZ shops. Hollow tech carbon sole without the ratchet (I also have a pair of the 215b model and there is no difference except for the ratchet)

Just tried on the Shimano R151 in size 44 and they felt really good. I liked the wide straps, they seemed to work better than the thiner straps on the shoes with the buckles. Idealy I would fit a size 43.5 but the size doesn't exist. On a size 43, my big and little toes would pinch, so I think I'm better off with a 44 and use medium or thick sport socks. The price from the local shop was AU$250, which isn't too bad for a local bike shop purchase. The price at GB Cycles is 45 pounds plus postage. Not sure if this includes VAT, as I think I'm VAT exempt and I think I'm also GST exempt back in OZ.

Dam! they have confirmed they are sold out. Anyone know where to find a SHIMANO R151 in 44 or 43.5

If shoes are just a bit too large and you don't want to wear a thick sock, you may be able to use a slightly thicker insole to take up the extra space.

Also, here is the shoe size chart for these shoes. I take a UK size 9 and have a wide foot. Should I go for 43 or 44?

I have these Exustar shoes but in yellow color. I dont know why I dont see a lot of cyclists using Exustar cycling shoes coz they're excellent quality shoes at a fraction of the price of Looks, DMT, Carnac, Shimanos, Gaerne, Sidi, etc. etc.

I also have the Exustar Carbon Pro - excellent quality, stiff and very good fit. BTW Exustar also manufactures pedal systems. They have one particular model very similar in design and weight to Shimano dura-ace/ultegra road pedals - again, at a fraction of the price.
