  1. Just taken Nathan's Zipp disc wheel to the post office to be sent back to
    Ciclismo to be replaced, as it's breaking up...

    Pass the smelling salts...

    To make sure its covered by insurance & signed for...

    £33... !!!!!!!!

    And it won't get there until Friday :-(

    Some people buy a complete bike for that amount!

    I have just paid 15usdollars for pandp from the states for a c36inch
    long telescopic seatpost for a dahon.Not signed or insured though I
    think.

    Blimey! What service was that exactly? Rip Off Special?

    I would have slung out the "Signed for" plan at that point and just relied
    on Standard Parcels with proof of postage and compensation cover. That'd
    been no more than £15.96 (assuming Ciclismo are in the UK):

    The kid's young and fit. Put a spare wheel in (Or use a spare bike) and
    get him to deliver the wheel in person. Probably faster and you can be
    sure he'd take care of it! Pah... youth of today! ;-)

    I sent a mountain bike wheel complete with tyre and hub gears (ie b****y
    heavy) with max compensation (£500 I think) for about £13.50.
    Posted from my local sub post office at lunch time and it arrived early the
    next day.
