Let's remember that it's been only 2 or 3 weeks since Jan started
training again. Jan want's to get back in gear and he realizes that
racing is a good way to do it.

I have believed that this idea of training a avoiding the season is not
always a good way of training. It worked well for Lance because he was
well disciplined. But if a rider chooses his races carefully he can
still be competitive and contend.
