  1. Are these any good for commuting....I wanted Armadillos but can find none in 23mm so had to settle for these...
    do these tyres pick up bits of glass, etc?
    would love to hear any feedback at all

    had a look at the sidewalls and am disappointed, I think they will fray and perish
    (every Conti I ever owned used to perish quickly...you would see some threads come loose on the sidewall)

    I commuted on Continental Supersports (predecessor to the Ultrasport) for several years with very few flats. Supersports are one of their heavier tires with wire bead and held up for me on Chicago streets pretty well.
