  1. This one is for Perthies...

I occasionally attend financial planning seminars in Allendale Square
(the ANZ building). On Monday I attended my first one since I started
doing all of my travel by bike. It leads to the problem of figuring
out where to park and get changed.

There is a service entry on the east side of the building for couriers
and the like. I went in there and asked some of the guys hanging about
if it would be ok to park my bike in there, they said it was ok so I
    chained it to a fence.

I asked where I could get changed into my suit and they directed me to
a toilet (which turned out to be disabled, though it wasn't marked as
such) on the other side of the food court on the ground minus one
level. I had to wait outside it for some time while someone inside
    finished up his business.

Evidently the sight of me in cycling gear was something of a novelty as
it attracted not only a fair bit of staring but also the attention of
security staff, who evidently were summoned by somebody as I bumped
into the same guy at his desk in the lobby one floor up. It all ended
ok when I said I was just waiting to go in to change into my suit, but
it was awkward being at the centre of attention.

Is anyone aware of a more suitable (secure, discrete and free) place to
park a bike and get changed, somewhere in the vicinity of Allendale
    Square/St George's Tce?

Nothing embarrassing at all for you. For them it's embarrasing.

Let them get used to the view of cyclists!
