to push and push until people started to get irritated. There are just too
many "students" from Missouri State blanketing all of the newsgroups asking

You told us about your assignment, but you didn't ask a question.

You've also done a fair dinkum job of obfuscation. The subject line
reads "favorite place to bike" which connotes actually riding the bike.
The body of your post reads "favorite place in the world to
participate in bicycling". That is not the same thing. Johan Bruyneel
participates in bicycling at the highest level from the front seat of a
car.

I'm sorry, but failure to follow such simple instructions and sloppy
phaseology when creating the survey will in all likelihood result in a
failing grade.

Be nice to your manager at McDonald's - you'll probably be seeing him
for some time to come.
