Belleville Rendezvous - cycling cartoon (ish)

That is the greatest movie I have seen in ages. I saw it in France in August. If you get a chance then go see it, no dialogue, fantastic old school animation, a great show!

I can honestly say that I did not understand that at all.

What did I just watch?

It is essential for any cyclist to watch this movie. It is very funny, and the TdF and the trainning sequences are hilarious. Me and my father laughted so much during those parts.

Hats off to "Col de Femur", will it be more difficult than Alpe d´Huez? 🙂))

I've been meaning to see this film for ages, its been out here for months already... But I can't persuade anyone to come with me to see a french film about cycling 🙁 (uncultured friends!!)

Hi all,
This is my first post; I've been lurking for a bit now.

I was walking around in Berkeley and noticed at the Act I&II Theater, this movie will be playing starting Dec. 26th!

It's located just west of campus at 2128 Center.

I hope any Bay Area folks will appreciate this!

This film is on BBC4 tonight in the UK - after A Sunday in Hell which looks even better.😄

Yea yea, rub it in... You get to watch the BBC while those of us in the US are stuck with Fox network. If it ever came to TV here, it would have the soundtrack re-dubbed with the spice girls or some rapper.

But I did get to see it in a theater (the only theater in about an 80 mile radius that was playing it!) :-)

Oh, and of course the US TV version will have Coke logos on the water bottles and AT&T, Microsoft, Starbucks, and McDonalds ads on all of the jerseys.
