A eagerness?
The international association of the cyclists racings (CPA) addressed Friday
the French Minister for the Sports, to Jean-François Lamour about a
difference in treatment between cycling and the other sporting disciplines.
The CPA notices, in an official statement, that Jean-François Lamour
"insisted near his Spanish counterpart so that the names of the cyclists who
would be implied in the Spanish business of doping are published before the
Tour de France."
Association is pleased with this initiative "in measurement where it aims at
defending the interests of the clean athletes," but request "why this
concern seems to be limited to cycling."
"While having been informed by the press that athletes of other sports would
be implied, the CPA wishes to know if the Minister made the same call before
the beginning of other sporting events like, for example, Roland Garros or
the World cup of football," adds the official statement.

vendredi au ministre français des Sports, Jean-François Lamour au sujet
d'une différence de traitement entre le cyclisme et les autres disciplines
sportives.
Le CPA remarque, dans un communiqué, que Jean-François Lamour « a insisté
auprès de son homologue espagnol pour que les noms des cyclistes qui
seraient impliqués dans l'affaire espagnole de dopage soient publiés avant
le Tour de France».
L'association se félicite de cette initiative «dans la mesure où elle vise
à défendre les intérêts des athlètes propres», mais demande «pourquoi ce
souci semble se limiter au cyclisme».
«En ayant été informé par la presse que des athlètes d'autres sports
seraient impliqués, le CPA souhaite savoir si Monsieur le Ministre a fait
le même appel avant le début d'autres manifestations sportives comme, par
exemple, Roland Garros ou la Coupe du monde de football», ajoute le
communiqué.
