  1. Hello to anyone who rides around Bloomington, Indiana.

    I often ride on OLD 37 between Walnut/College and Musgrave Orchards. Here is the time I recorded yesterday for the climb up the hill just north of the fire station, starting with a rolling start at Old Meyers Rd and stopping at the fire station's driveway: 4:35. I was using my granny gear most of the way. The climb is about 150 vertical ft and it is about 1 mile long.

    If you climb this hill, why not check and post your time?

  2. I am Going down to bloomington in a couple days to train for the insanely hilly nationals course. I might do that hill im not sure. Do you race?

  3. Nope, don't race, just ride around for the heck of it/fitness.

    I remeasured today and got:

    4:25 for 0.77 miles up the hill.

    Here's a scenic spot near Lake Monroe, another 150 ft climb, on SR 446:
