WTB : Bar end shifters

  1. WTB : Bar end shifters, either friction or indexed would be fine. These
    are going a a commuter bike I am setting up. TRIPLE on the front and
    Shimano 8 speed on the rear.

  2. These go pretty cheap (8-speed models) on EBay all the time.
    Rivendell bikes also sells them very reasonably.

    FYI: There's no such thing as a double or triple for the left shifter,
    they're all the same.

    AFAIK they are different.

    I think that is correct. I have a couple of sets on some bikes I own,
    and the left (front) shifter is not indexed.
