So come on, someone must have an old bike they've been meaning to shift for the space, only it's
just a bit too good to go to the tip.

I want it so that I can convert it into an swb recumbent, if you want
anything for it or a contribution towards packing costs, just let me know.

No, I hadn't seen that site before. I was just going to graft the front tube and bottom bracket
from a racer to the headstock of a Raleigh shopper, place the seat in front of the shopper seat
tube and relay the chain to the back wheel through a double chainwheel (with it's cranks removed)
on the existing bottom bracket of the shopper.

I don't know how well it would work, but to find out I first need a Raleigh Shopper :-)

Well, thanks anyway. It's a bit like Blind Date..... I've made a marriage, but not between the
contestants who were together on screen!

A friend of a friend has come up trumps with a decent loaner that will actually fit me so it's time
to find out if I like off road now I'm reasonably fit😉
