Can't argue with that. TMob not bad either, maybe AG2R as well.

Very impressed with Rabo yesterday.

T-Mobile, based on their whole team basically ripping the ITT.
And they ripped the whole peloton and their own riders foolishly on the next to last mountain yesterday, even the riders were openly mocking how stupid a move it was.

Not such a good day for T Mobile? "They put the pressure on Col du Portillon and did a lot of damage, but it didn't work and they suffered big time on that last mountain. I think it is one of the worst moves that T Mobile has done next to last year when they did the same thing chasing down Vinokourov.

"How a team is that strong and can make those types of mistakes is absolutely unbelievable at this point in time in the Tour. Let's face it, as a team that had five guys, if not six, riding that good. Why didn't they just wait for the race to unfold and then attack? Don't go to the front and use up all your best men."

Look at the Team classifications after each stage so far in this TDF.

TMO only assumed top position - yesterday.

They are the strongest team, just not the smartest.

stage wins Freire 2, Menchov 1
Freire picks up points today in the break
smart team!!

I think TM have the greatest firepower, but Rabo have used theirs more effectively and the sharp end of their team (Menchov, Rasmussen, Boogerd) can do, and have done, real damage.

TM is strong, but Klodin took the spanky yesterday...

Sounds familiar doesnt it??? Only this time they didnt need LA to trick them. :p

I agree T/M are a strong team, as are Rabobank, however, how are you determining strong??? As in GC overall. If not I think D/L are a strong team, they too have three stage wins ( all to Robbie who was an underdog to thor and tomb befor the event as the media put it ) and cadel to is also in a strong position ( anotherone not rated a chance by the media ). Just thing what a guy like cadel could do with the full support of a team instead of half the support going to Robbie.

If they check blood, Astana, for sure 🙄.

I wouldn't say Cadel wasn't rated a chance, because many places I read had Cadel with a possibility of the podium behind Jan and Ivan, obviously before they were thrown out,. Many more had him a Top 5. This to me would classify him as a contender in the media's minds.

personally, I like Menchov's chances over Cadel Evans. Especially over the next few days. He has better support with Boogerd and Rasmussen. Even Landis might be hard pressed to fend off a Rabobank attack. I can see Evans easily getting isolated.

Super stage wins for Rabobank and especially for Rasmussen, but hard to see how Menchov can't make it treu.

After today, i'd have to say the 1-man team of Floyd is the strongest.

As Disco showed last year, and Floyd just showed today, the team strength is not the determining factor.

It was Michael Rogers that went up front and God, forbid, he's not German!! Must support Kloden no matter what.....we have to have a German in front! I wonder if Rogers thought about that when he signed with them?

I think he thought he would have to ride for the strongest rider on the team, as he has done.
