I just came accross this product and was wondering how well it works for long rides.

They are one of the sponsors of my team so my reply may be somehwhat biased 🙄
My husband uses them all of the time to prevent cramping, which he has had a problem with in the past. They are easy to carry and you can pop them into a water bottle without having to stop - which is great if you are racing and getting neutral water at a feed zone. They taste OK - I've only had the citrus flavor so far.
The hubby has pretty much switched to NUUN in his bottles and gels for carbs. I prefer something with carbs/calories in my drink as I find gels hard to get down, but I use NUUN pre race since I don't want to dilute out all of my electrolytes beore I even get on the bike and post race for re-hydration. I've only done one race long enough to have feeds, but it was long (101 miles) hot (about 98) so I really am glad I was carrying the NUUN- I think plain water would have been hard to do that day.
