  1. Hello all,

As a bit of a follow up to my post last week I just though I would share the fact that I REALLY
enjoyed my ride to work this AM - its odd how my attitude is completely different!!

How on earth I ever felt like "I couldnt be bothered" is beyond me at the moment!!

Cant wait till 5.15 so I can ride home - ack! I can feel myself turning into a cyclist - I was also
considering a riding holiday in Scotland with my, as yet, un cycling girlfriend :-)

    MUST sell my car soon!

    Lee

  2. on the contrary, this morning was the first for a long time where I had to set out for work in the
rain. *buying* a car was on my mind...

It was spotting a little this morning but i found it much easier to ride through that than the
    blazing hot sun!

Of course, when it downpours thats a different kettle of fish! I have ridden both ways in the rain
and managed, i guess i will survive!

To be fair, the chances of it raining when i do my commute is fairly slim (a short window each day)
so i guess i can live with it. Of course, the REAL test comes when it is a cold, gusting wind and
sleety rain - then ill beg for air conditioning (turned all the way up)

    :-)

  4. my problem is usually getting soggy, or getting rain down my neck. as long as I wrap up in my
waterproofs I'm happy enough. I don't care how stupid I look, as long as I know when I get to work I
can take them off and be dry.
