Campagnolo vs Truvativ, Hope vs Avid

Campag because

(i) When I was a kid I always wanted Campag and couldn't afford it and
(ii) I've got Truvative on my hillbike and don't see it as specially good.

Hydraulic. I've got hydraulic discs on my hill bike and they are *seriously* good even in streaming
wet muddy conditions.

Do the truativ have a nicer BB interface (ISIS?)

On the road bike, there isn't the choice between those two brakes, assuming drop bars. Avids will
work, hopes wont.

Actually, there is rumoured to be a Hope option for drop bars, but it ain't cheap and the guy
doesn't seem to read his emails. Still, if you are really interested he does answer his phone and he
even rang me in reply to a fax - eventually. Drill through to the item on discjockey at
www.sticha.ch. Really an elegant solution to using Hope mini's or M4's with drop bars.
