Jose Maria Buxeda makes other lawyers look bad.

He was also Robero Heras's lawyer. He has managed to get several athletes
(including a few triathletes) out of the hook on procedural basis (such as
management of the samples) (if I remember correctly on EPO related cases)..
But if history serves, Denis Menchov is the official Vuelta a España 2005
winner.

An in Robertos´s case the samples were handled by the Madrid center that is
not so highly regarded as the lab that has handled Landis´s samples.

Landaluze was cleared by the Spanish Federation after a positive IRMS
result at C-M. The UCI has challenged this decision at the CAS)

Yes. And that (Landaluce's case) may have been the base for Floyd to chose
this lawyer.

Landaluze, had a record of high testosterone levels since he was a junior
and he proovided ample medical documentation acrediting this fact.

The lawyer showed that the lab involved (Châtenay-Malabry !! ) committed
some irregularity. Additioanlly they questioned the reliability of the IRMS
(the othere two tests on Landaluce were negative) and the spanish cycling
federation has dropped the case. (But the UCI has appealed to the TAS).
