The obvious answer is to make more carparks, more roads, no speed limits, free cream cakes and the
forcible amputation of legs for people who ride bicycles, that'll teach them, then everyone can slip
into early death and obesity leaving the world free of its greatest problem, mankind!

Obvious. Several bikes, with trailers, can be parked in the space taken by one car. Trailers can

When out with the family we do our bit to promote such an advantage.

We often lean our bikes up against each other in a car park space. For some reason it seems to
antagonise the petrolheads who are looking for somewhere to park. They seem to think the parking is
just for them. When we use just two bikes it seems to make them even redder in the face.

Next week when I have the trailer for the trice I'll be able to hasten their heartbeats all
by myself.

The problem is what to lock it to. I've been recomended to jacknife it and lock the back of the
trailer to the trike, on the lines that anyone willing to carry that assembly off is probably strong
enough to rob you anyway.

The racks (n shaped bars) at our supermarket are spacious enough to take a tandem trike, so should
take a trailer without problem.

Of interest, which trailer do you have? The only ones that I've seen that will mount to a newish
hub gear setup are ones that mount on one side (the side that doesn't have the gear cable sticking
out). The BoB trailers look good, but it looks like it would take some effort to attach to a
hub-geared trike.

You could build more carparks.

But consider the cost of prime town centre land and the opportunity cost of using it to leave metal
bath chairs on. I reckon an unsubsidized price would be about 3UKP an hour in your average small
town. (Allowing for 9-5 charging hours, 70% utilisation and few other rough assumptions I made some
time ago).

Wow, good man.

I have only summoned up the brass neck to do this once; when the choice was narrow pavement, marked
car space or half mile to nearest lamppost. Despite having two children in a trailer, it upset
someone so badly that I nearly got in a fight.

I don't usually do that sort of thing but when someone threatens to run your offspring over, well...

I'll try and do it more often in future (without kids in tow).

I've got a Bob that I connect to a hub geared tandem. As clive says, Bob do a variety of BobNutz to
accommodate different threads, hub widths and hub gears. The variety for hub gears are drilled on
one side to take the shifting chain.
