bc wheels

I want a BC still. I just haven't got one yet :P . Im getting a paycheck
at the end of the week so it looks like someone is going to be getting
a shiny new Bedford Basic BC with PRO plates 😄 .

Why do you call them PRO plates, Vs Pro?? It isn't an abbreviation is
it?

Probably for the same reason Miles types MOAB instead of Moab.

It stands out more I guess.

again? did you get one and than get rid of it? or did you just lose
interest..

i recomend you build one from parts. and buy some plates from evan or
darren(bedford)

its a little more expensive buying a full one.

Because it says PRO in the Bedford price list. I dont think its an
abbreviation, but hey, I'm just calling it by its proper name.

normal 20" one from Dave Stockton. I'm going to be making my own custom
plates.

I don't know what the current 20" bedford looks like, here was my
Bedford deluxe from a lonnng time ago, it has changed a lot since then.

I believe Darren will be selling the new lowered PRO plates eventually,
they are designed so the bolt sits on top of your shoe.
Here is a comparison of my lowered prototypes (left) next to the
current PRO plates:

Yeah, there are bolts that hold the platforms on that you use to grip
it.

for jumping, does it help any to put grip tape on the inside walls of
the plates where you squeeze with your feet?

also, does glued sandpaper work as griptape? cause I have a LOT of that
sitting around...or am I just being stupid?

I have no idea about glued sand paper...

On my lowered prototypes I actually asked Darren to put the griptape on
the side like that. I think it helps a little. It gives more grip for
360s and stuff where the wheel wants to fly away.
