  1. Sup guys,

Well, in my experience, the biking world likes gloves that have some
protection against falls, but also have very thin materials so they can
feel the grips and levers well. Though for us one wheelers, we fall a
lot more and don't need that perfect feel on the handle. Can anyone
recommend a beefy as hell glove that will hold up a lot better to falls
than the standard bike glove? I shred bike gloves in 10-20 rides.

    Later,

    -E

  2. um...
661 sells these gloves with carbon fiber knuckles...
or you could try some just plain ol' work gloves from your hardware
    store.
like Mechanix gloves. those things NEVER die.

  3. ^ sounds wicked expensive.

try stuffing your gloves with a tiny scrap of rag.

  7. I have a set of khs, and they have good ass padding. Not to much wrist
support, but the beef is there for scratches and such. Bedford will
give them for free (well he did for me) if you get lots of other stuff.

  11. I wear KH gloves every ride.

I've had them since they first came out and so far they are holding up.
I had a problem with the seams letting go I had to resew the leather on
    the fingers.

When I snapped my scaphoid in my wrist (on a b*ke) I was wearing them
so they aren't cure all safety gear but I know that they have saved me
some nasty damage other times on the unicycle.

The leather is holding up well for me.

...maybe you just are falling too much! Lol

  12. I've had similar experiences with gloves, Evan. Recently, I was trying a
new pair of Fox wrist wrap gloves, and I fell hard on some sharp shale.
It cut my hands like the gloves weren't even there.

This is a great idea. Also good ideas are gardening gloves and
    climbing gloves.

I use an old pair of thick leather climbing gloves when I'm doing
    high-consequence stuff.

for uniing. they cost like $15 from some bike shop in texas though. I
can go try to find the brand name if you want.
