Fancy a Dirty Weekend in Suffolk ?
Well, if you come to ride the Suffolk CTC Rough Stuff (15th October),
there is also the chance to do a cyclo-cross event on the day before in
Ipswich (Foxhall Stadium, 14th October from 11am onwards) - see British
Cycling for details.
Getting back to the annual Rough Stuff event. We'd like to top the 125
riders we had turn up on the day last year. It doesn't matter what the
weather is like; if it's raining it just makes it a little easier to get
around a few of the sandy patches.
This year we have a new organiser (so I can ride instead), and a few
little tweaks to the route, so if you can remember last years route, you
will get lost.... pay attention to the route sheet !.
The horible sandy patch at Butley Church is not in, but we do have a few
other 'nice' little bits ... I think they are easier to ride, plus on
top of the 25 mile route there is an optional 5 mile extra loop for the
foolish or insane.
Sign-on from 9am, riders leave in groups from 9:30 to 10am
Venue: Butley Village Hall, near Woodbridge, Suffolk
Entry Fee £2 Toilets and refreshments available
Certificates for all finishers
