Rich Roth has always liked bicycles. Small wonder. The day he was born, his father, Wes, opened his first bike shop, Coates Bicycles, in Pomona. That was in 1961. He opened a second Pomona store in 1965 and a third location, West Covina Schwinn, in 1970.
