Why the hell would you show your cards so early? If you ever do get the opportunity to ride another Tour, and you plan to attack on a mountain pass, make sure you announce this fact to your rivals in advance. That represents the same level of tactical stupidity as this blunder.

His point would be the problems occurred AFTER he peed....
His case is fairly strong, I think. This goes well beyond an ambiguously scrawled "4/6". There's a substantial number of blunders, lending doubt on the integrity of the result.
