  1. Just curious if others are monitoring RHR as the season has ended and they have backed off some/A lot. I have been doing a good deal of zone 1/2 (LT-40 to 50 beats) work and, no question, fitness is not what it was. On season, My RHR was regularly 42-44. Now, its 55 and sometimes higher when I wake up.

So, is a 10+ beat rise normal in the light, light, base period, or should the goal be to go harder to maintain more fittness?

    TIA
