  1. Reason numbee 341 to ride a recumbent. At least a high bottom bracket
    one.

    Because you can go through the foot of water at the Tempe underpass
    without getting your feet wet.

    (and this is also when you find your new Arkel pannier is indeed
    waterproof!)

    Wouldn't want to do it on a trike mind.

    Definitely, and you do lose the aerobic workout of trying to pedal
    underwater.
