Flushing STI levers

I use Boeshield. It's brought my wife's Ultegra levers back to life several
times. Hasn't harmed the flight desk stuff either.

I wouldn't recommend flushing the levers as preventive maintenance, only
as a temporary fix for shifting trouble.

I've used WD40. I had the best luck when I added a lubricant after the
WD40 was mostly dry (overnight or a few hours later).

I've never used a Flight Deck, so I can't comment.
