I am 6'5" male looking for a bike that I can continue to ride to work - about 100 miles per week(hilly route). I need to be able to have panniers for extra clothes and laptop transport.
I also want to use the bike for off road mountain biking(I've never owned a MB). I need components that will endure this kind of use and last without constant replacement/repair (I ride hard). I'm willing to wait/search for a great clearance price - but need help what to look for. Any suggestions? Present Budget $500-700.
