Any feedback so far?
Being international I am at the back of the queue for 2.4s so any reviews would be good.

Nice wheel!
I'll be getting a set of Reynolds DV clinchers with the 2.4 hub. I'll probably have to wait until mid-January, but I'm looking forward to it! -

Nice wheel. Do you plan to install the wireless cadence sensor?

no, I will try to use the PT with hub cadence. If isn't realistic i'm going tu use wireless cadence.

I used the wired sensor for a couple of years on my Pro and SL then this fall decided to go with out it. Nevery missed it although the cadence isn't as accurate but is good enough. One less wire for me to worry about.

yesterday I have used it with any problem of signal. I used it for 4 hours also in a city as Salerno... and the PT in perfect, for the power signal and obioviusly for the heart rate signal (also coded).

the price is high. if the product is new the price is the same.

got mine on the 22nd. Still figuring out what the best rim / spokes build will be.

I just wanted to check with other about their experience with the SL 2.4. So far, mine has been nothing but a headache. It's constantly dropping the hub signal; I had over 100 drops on a three + hour ride this am. The HR monitor fails to pick up about 60% of the time. And, I cannot get it to download on a PC; it works fine on a Mac. I suspect this last one has to do with my computer and not the PT.
Before I call Saris, I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.
-
I've had mine a few days.
All working 100%

Atsic, nice to see you.
Also I'm in Italy (Perugia).Where did you buy your PT? And how much was it?
Thanks. 🙂

Anyone have any suggestions on a wheel build for the 2.4 other than the Zipp wheels? I've got a SL with a Mavic Open Pro and would like to upgrade. I'd prefer it to be a little bit lighter than an Open Pro and possible more aero for when I put it on my TT bike. Also, I'd like to be able to ride it everyday at 185 lbs.

Contact Rich Sawris at Wheelbuilder.com. He'll probably recommend DT Swiss. But the bottom line is this: If you have a wheelbuilder like him, your wheel is going to last for a LONG time. -

Thanks. I probably spoke too soon. I replaced all of the batterys (head unit, hub and HR sensor) and all seems to be working okay. 🙂

I had mine built from DT RR1.1 rims + DT Swiss spokes 3 x both sides. Will use it for racing and training.I agree though that the wheelbuilder is the most important factor.
