I am a relatively short guy. Most cycling shorts have an inseam of 9 inches. Are there cycling shorts in the 6 - 7 inch inseam range? 😕

Have fun with the chick chamois...they are different. Most girls will tell you how crappy guy chamois are, so I would assume the reverse would be similar.

Assos bibs use shorter inseams and the F1 Mille is shorter than the other Assos bibs. I think the Mille might have a 7 inch inseam but I am not sure.
Womens shorts are a bad idea. Aside from the chamois they are cut differently and one of the big differences between a quality short and the cheaper stuff is the fit. One of the big reasons why Assos is so good is they use a good athletic cut.

pearl's tri shorts have a shorter inseam. but of course the chamois isn't nearly as good.

Speaking of pearl, I think some of their shorts may run a little shorter in general. I have a pair of pearl izumi shorts that my dad gave me...i never wear them because they sit a good couple inches above my tan lines and that's just weird.

I just slide them up higher for a better tan line.

YOu can always take some shorts to a seamstress and have them shortened.
