Old MTBs and KLUNKERZ

That's just inspired me to rebuild my 1991 Al Mega!

That's just inspired me to rebuild my 1991 Al Mega!

Actually I'm kind of overhauling my Stumpy atm... it was sitting in
bits in the garage for a few weeks until a few days ago. The hubs and
rims were shot, so I've just ebay'd some new wheels and it's once
again ridable. However, I'm seriously considering putting the original
(rigid) forks back on, I have some rock shocks indy sl forks on there
atm, but they're really not that great, and it would be kind of nice
(and lighter in any case) to have the original forks back on there.

I'm trying to remember exactly when I did buy it... IIRC it was about
8xx quid new, which seemed like a lot then, although not that much by
today's standards.

Still got the originals on mine, as as the frame is Aluminium it's a damn
sight lighter than my Santa Cruz full susser!

Now you've got me... I think I paid around 400 quid for mine, reduced as the
frame was marked.....
