it overlays on the course and has voice over and text commenatray too plus current images... a pretty cool interface (sign of things to come for TdF?)
sound quality is a bit suss, but the image , although a small screen is pretty clear and at least is "live" vision, three Aussies in the breakaway of 8 and building a gap....2'35" Karl Menzies, Adam Hansen, Sean Sullivan...
It wasn't all that bad...the usual US media approach of interspersing commentary with interviewing their own people, sponsors and producers, but the little live video screen was manageable. Not a bad format...they hinted they would be doing this format again at other events (Milan Sanremo and Tour of Georgia) so we may hear more...it involved Yahoo and Adobe so maybe it will continue to be free too...
Good to see big Karl go for it alone at the end, he was strong, but too far out from the last Kilos at the catch.
