  1. Well, that's my sprint training over for another year. Hopefully.

Just back from an hour & a bit on the bike. Cycled along a bit of & across
    the A47.

Who forgot it's now holiday season?

Who forgot how busy the A47 is in the holiday season?

One was required to do a bit of sprinting to get up to speed to join the
carriageway during a gap in traffic & cross it to the RH filter lane.

One surprised one's self at one's turn of pace for a middle-aged, overweight
    matron of the parish!

One is now seeking out an oxygen tent :-D

Were there cameras? Which channel is it on?

As there was a jam sandwich parked at the side of the road, it may be coming
to an episode of 'Police, Camera, Action!' on your small screen sometime
    soon ;-)

Not long after they built a cycle track under the A47 where I used to
live (K.Lynn), I've moved near WsM and my connection to town is a toll
road where no-one's bothering to collect the tolls. I think I must
have missed getting buzzed by speeding cars and vans. The increase in
traffic now holidaymakers are arriving has to be seen to be believed.

The increase in lunatic overtaking is best considered with eyes shut.

A disturbing number of the bollards along the cliff side of the road
have been mangled or knocked clean out. Not heard of any cars going
    over yet this year, though.
