i just got a new bike, a allez elite, i have a older trainer, just like this one homepage.mac.comPhotoAlbum25.htmlOpen ↗, my question being is that the trainer will not accept the quick change wheel, is their a way to use this trainer without buying a new wheel?

You don't need a new wheel, just a different quick release skewer. All QR skewers are pretty much interchangeable, but many of the newer ones don't fit in the trainer retention systems.
