    I've been lurking here for a bit and am amazed on the bitterness of this fellow...not one positive comment, just a constant attack on some cycling organization

    Anyone here have any background to what I've missed?...seems odd that 90% of the threads on a regional board are all about one person with a chip on his shoulder

    Anyway...if this is the tone here, then its time to move on

    He's just one of the forum's whack-jobs, and is harmless if you don't reply to his posts. I have gathered that he's [censored] about Canadian bike racing something or another. Please, don't feed the trolls by trying to have a sensible exchange of words with him.

    Check out canadiancyclist.com for more discussions. Our good friend was banned there so you won't see constant castigation of the CCA there. As an aside, he was banned here as well but then rejoined under a different name.

    Yes, Ed has hijacked this forum unfortunately.

    (Ed Arzouzian or something like that is his real name, except that he was banned from this forum so he came back as Fausto Coppied - same guy though, so there are even more posts from him than you originally thought).

    He does have an axe to grind, but he also makes some good points, if you can see through his diatribes and personal attacks.

    Yes, check out that site and you will see the same complaints about the CCA but less well-written and informative.

    Furthermore, there are still posters on that site they want Ed back and say the sport could use him now.

    Also, check ou the Pedalmag.com cycling forum where once when Ed was a member it had hundreds of posts and thousands of view a week and now it has less than one post per week and less than 100 views.

    Just as Ed predicted if he was banned.

    Benjamin Sadavoy, Editor/Owner of Pedal Magazine and Rob Jones Editor/Owner of Canadian Cyclists are part of the problem in the sport, not the solution. Where once Canadian cycling had the front pages on many mainstream newspapers across the country, riders, owners, organizers and the CCA now settle for a photo on a marginal web site.

    Mediocrity rules.
