Don't think the drug map is as simple as that..... my taking was that Funetes was at Kelme learning the game and injecting his guinea pigs with gods knows what..... once he left their and set up shop he befriended Saiz and they got a little system going...... Saiz and Bruyneel prior to that were amateur hour when it came to drugs... there is a story that Bruyeenl took so many amphetamines one time that he actually passed out on his bike and rode into a wall ! He also rode off a ravine once and was laughing as he came back up because he was so wired... his nickname in the peleton was "the hog" not for his riding but his insatiable drug habit.... true story..... Neil Stephens tells the story.... Bruyneel also didn’t care for drug controls….. he knew the UCI testers well and either didn’t [censored] or passed in someone else’s…….

When Armstrong brought in Bruyneel, the staff like Dr. Prentice Steffan, who had refused to give dope to Hamilton, were given their walking papers. I am sure it was purely innocent though. 😉

I agree that the connections are not linear. More like a scatter diagram. Fuentes has always been a freelancer. Even when he was with Kelme he was working with athletes from other teams. Does anybody remember a few years ago during the Vuelta when it came down to the final TT between Casero and a Kelme rider? There was a recorded phone conversation between Fuentes and Casero where Fuentes promised to bring the special package to the race. They actually concocted a story that Fuentes was bringing Casero a special crankset. As if Fuentes has better equipment than the equipment sponsor of Casero's team. I'll bet dollars for donuts that he was bringing a transfusion of Tugboat Hamilton's blood.
