I just replaced a Letro Legend four wheeler with the Polaris 380. I tried to follow the instructions, and the only cut I needed to make was about 2 feet off the leader hose. My Polaris 380 seems to run out to the full length of the pool (to shallow end) and stick there near the wall. Ultimately, it will backup with the backup valve but then fairly quickly will get hung up at the wall again. It seems every time I look out there, it's hung up at the shallow end or the steps near the shallow end. I've got 34 RPMs, two higher than I'm supposed to have, but I have not installed the red restrictor yet. Pool is fairly oval shapped with about an 8-9 feet deep end.
