  1. I fell on Sunday as I tried to release from my left pedal. I have not had any problems up until now. I am riding a set of used Look pedals a friend gave me. He sent the cleats to go with them. I have spent some time trying to figure which is the problem. When in my shoes and on the bike the left is more difficult to get to release. It seams that when the right shoe is clipped into the left pedal it is still not as easy as the right to release. If any of you have tried this it is hard to judge. Any help would be much appreciated.😕

  2. Practice makes perfect. Enjoy clipless! 😉

  3. Wear can cause jamming, also if you put the cleats on the opposite shoe to what they were on the wear points will be different.
If the pedals don't have tension adjustment try a drop of lube on the strategic points of the pedals where they grab the cleats.
If all else fails get someone who knows to have a look at them.

Good advice. It seems like a lot of people think that pedals are maintenance free. They're not. People that ride MTB's in harsh environments find this out pretty quickly. A little bit 'o lube helps a lot.

  5. If they are the old white ones, I have the same ones. there is an adjustment on the back part of the "black" piece (clip) that adjusts how much tension is applied. After breaking my left ankle i found it quite painfull to twist it out. I backed the tension completely off. Made it much easier to get out, but still enough to hold it in when riding.
