Not necessarily. Depends upon exactly what you eat and in what
amounts, how it is prepared, etc. If you mostly make your own food,
as I do, you can use a little potassium chloride (potassium salt)
instead of using all "table" salt (sodium chloride). Perhaps an 1 to
8 ratio, or something along those lines, again, depending upon how
much you use, what your other salt sources are, etc. -

: Eat fish, meat, dairy, veggies. For most people that suggestion would be wrong. In addition to potassium,
fish, meat and dairy are also high in phosphorus which as an acid producing
mineral. That is why those foods don't help in correcting common low grade
metabolic acididity in the body.--

If you need a lot, then a KCl solution is the easiest. My SO is taking
15ml of a 10% KCl solution diluted into a glass of water and was able
to get her K into a normal range.Orange juice and melon have a high concentration of potassium.
Cucumbers have the highest ratio of potassium to calories, but my SO
would have to eat 2 lbs to get her dose of potassium.--
