Two weeks ago I asked advice on walks in the Lake District. Here is

A painful knee greatly curtailed my adventures; I guess I could have
made life easier for myself by choosing walks which started higher up
(e.g. on one of the passes).
Pretty impressive place the Lake District; no shortage of hillwalking
opportunities that's for sure.
