Hey Yall... I'm Paula Deen.... OK... not really but up for auction is the
actual screen worn, two piece, "Le Suit" outfit that Paula Deen wore
in her very first movie, Elizabethtown as the loveable character Aunt
Dora. This outfit is seen, and worn by Paula(Aunt Dora) on screen for
close to fifteen minutes near the end of the movie (end of the movie
during the wake scene). Many of the Paramount promotional photos and
promo posters for the movie actually show Paula Deen(Aunt Dora)
wearing this very dress. (one of those promotional photos is included
with this outfit). There is also a photo of Paula wearing this outfit
on page 100 of her new book, "It Ain't All About The Cooking".

This outfit came from the inventory of Premier Props, of Hollywood,
CA. Premier Props obtained this outfit directly from Paramount Studios
shortly after the film finished shooting in 2005 and I bought it from
them a few months later. This outfit comes with an original
Certificate of Authentication, which is signed by executives of
Paramount Studios as well as Premier Props. In addition, you'll also
receive a hand signed statement of authentication from Paula herself(I
had her sign it in when she was in Savannah a few weeks ago).

I met Paula at Borders Book Store in Savannah a few weeks ago where
she flipped out when she saw this outfit. She pulled me aside after
the book signing and asked for my phone number and said she would be
interested in buying this outfit to display in her restaurant. I gave
my number to her, but unfortunately have yet to hear from her, so I
don't know if she's still interested, lost my number, or has not had
time to call me. Therefore, I reserve the right to stop the auction at
any time and sell it to her if she calls me before the end of the
auction. If I hear from her after the auction has completed, I will
give Paula the winning bidder's info so that she may contact you
directly(if you want to sell it to her).
What is this outfit worth? Who knows... but Paula Deen is without a
doubt already a household name and I'm sure she's only moving up from
there. When I spoke to her she mentioned that there was talk of her
being offered her very own daytime talk show. By comparison, just
imagine what Opra's original outfit from her very first movie would be
worth today. Well here's your opportunity to own Paula Deen's outfit
from her very first movie.

found one, which is very similar, but not 100% correct. I'll include
that button for the winning bidder if you like. Just wanted to make

Paula. It's great!
