That's a strange thing since I am currently involved in
switching from Comcast to Verizon FIOS. As is evident,
r.f.cooking *is* available but not quite all of my favorite
groups. The UK domain is rather sparse.

Yes, it's strange. It's certainly on Verizon's list of newsgroups but
I cannot bring it up. One day fine, next day nada. As I mentioned,
tech support (in India!) could offer no support or suggestions. All
other groups are fine.

Yes, that's what happened to me in the past - and I'm not a deadbeat,
but pay everything within 30 days. My problem is that C&B blames the
bank and vice versa. My beef is that I don't want it to happen every
year, since it was so smooth before.
