Am I the only one who thinks GR would have put Marcel thru the meat grinder
after the first couple of weeks? Wonder what he would do with this next
bunch of pompous gits.

Virginia! [[smack]] Pay attention! ;-) I posted yesterday - next
week, I believe in that time slot we're going to have a previous
contestant smack-down (including Marcel), and then week after next, I
think, is when the new season starts. 9 p.m. (CDT) on Bravo.N.

Oh, so sorry, that should be Tammy! [[Pay attention!]]
Anyway, I saw a commercial for "The Next Food Network Star" last night
(not nearly as much fun as the Bravo show) and Dinner Impossible's
Robert (chef) is a judge for at least part of it.N.

Nancy, I'm pretty hit/miss in my posting & reading. I don't suffer gladly
all of the OT drivel and dreck here.Quoted message said:

the one that elevated Guy Fieri to "star" status. I'll look for Top Chef,
though. Ya think they'll get rid of Padma for someone with a modicum of
talent AND personality (that woman is in serious need of a personality
transfusion) (although admittedly she's beautiful almost to a fault!)I'd kill to see Gordon Ramsay as one of the Top Chef judges, perhaps in the
Tom Colicchio (sp?) role. Oi.TammyM

Or Anthony Bourdain. More than they used him last time, as just a one
time guest judge. He should be a regular.I hear that there is a pretty impressive set of candidates this time
around, one which got a James Beard award or nomination. There is
thread on eGullet about Top Chef...and comments sometimes from folks
"in the know"....Christine, scrambling to head to work
