  1. I've been watching this show and Kathy Griffin is so funny! And original. And
    creative!

    She's funny on and offstage.

I like the format of the show. Mostly that about her and her staff plotting
her self-professed media-[censored] image to get up "the list."

It shows on the Bravo channel.

I don't know if it was on the D-List show or whether it was on a "Dog
Whisperer" show, but she was on the road and came back and the dogs had
chewed up her new leather furniture. Sooo funny.

She was on Suze Orman just a couple of weeks ago, whatever she said
made me watch the episode she mentioned. Pretty funny, and I've been
    watching since then. Funny stuff.

Get Kathy's stand-up concerts. Even more hilarious than the D-List
show. A lot of her stand-up can be seen on Youtube.

She's done great for being on the D list. You can see her West Hollywood
house from miles away. It's gigantic and dwarfs the neighbor's.

I only began watching Griffin a month or so ago. Did she have that built or
just bought from a previous owner? They sure showcase that house a lot. And
what is it about the driveway? They show it on almost every episode.

West Hollywood. I thought she was gay, the way she played up her gay fan
following. But an episode I saw stated otherwise. Thank God. I'd love to
**** her! <-- in my best Kathy Griffin comedic style. :d

She's a master of bargaining for goods and services in trade for
promotional time. Almost all of her house and interior and
furnishings were traded for free or very little cost. She's obligated
to just about everyone to pimp the house and everything in it at every
opportunity. The house really is a showpiece and gets profiled in pubs like
House Beautiful, Home/Garden, etc. She's one shrewd cookie (OBfood).

The driveway actually extends all the way up *into* her house. It narrows
to a point and then opens up into the foyer. She bought the house from a
rich couple who built it several years ago but then became too disabled to
live in it. Griffin is *all* about that house. It's her entire focus in
life - or so they say. She's often been sued or is suing somebody who
doesn't like her house - the last I heard her neighbors were sick of the
production crews there 10 hours a day so they sued. Then she was sued for
loud parties. Marilyn Manson lives near her and there is a story that he
thought her parties were too loud. Funny if it is true.

And it wasn't just new leather furniture, it was custom made leather
    furniture. Expensive beyond belief.

Well, but, I didn't see that yet but, do you think that was staged? If she
was away, wouldn't she put her dogs in "jail" (kennel)? Maybe a stunt for
    material?

    I'm only guessing,

    Andy

  13. I forgot to add, I think her mannerisms, facial expressions and body language
are excellent, and her comedic delivery and timing, impeccable!!!

Not likely. She got it free to pimp it for an up and coming custom
designer to the stars. There was almost a whole episode about the
couch which is valued somewhere around $15-25K, as I recall.

Actually, I've only seen her a few times. The first time was on Dog
Whisperer, that's how I noticed her her name on the D-List and saw some part
of a show about her goings-on about a breakup with a
boyfriend/husband/whatever, so I thought she is a hereo.

    played the straight man.

I just watched that Larry King bit on youtube. Larry King could've played
the straight man OR woman, as far as Griffin was concerned... I think? 😉

    Another great bit!!!

    Andy

  18. Also, if you don't mind my asking, how much of that fake hair she always
mentions is fake? Is she a brunette or something??

So many times I see the face move and the hair stays still.

    Anyone?

Kathy Griffin is amusing and her sense of humor is different. I like her.

  20. Watching her parents was just precious. It is sad that she lost her father.
