Todays long flat individual time trial will decide the winner of this years Tour de France.
General Classification After Stage 18
1 Alberto Contador (Spa) Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team 86.04.16
2 Cadel Evans (Aus) Predictor - Lotto - 1.50
3 Levi Leipheimer (USA) Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team - 2.49
4 Carlos Sastre (Spa) Team CSC - 6.02
5 Haimar Zubeldia (Spa) Euskaltel - Euskadi - 6.29
That was pretty gutting for Millar to have to make a bike change almost immediately after starting.

It has looked like Contador weakened in the last mountain stage and yesterday he couldn't follow Evans in the sprint. So maybe there is a reasonable chance for Evans to win this thing.

So Contador has the third fastest time at the first check...is he really this good?

Could be...but I remember a time trial where they were commenting on some thing or other lance was doing wrong but he ending blitzing everyone by a minute.
