Thought I'd start a separate thread as Andrew the Troll's posting seems to be going nowhere. Something about drinking nail polish remover, I think.
Any good ways to freshen up one's breath? Any luck with the various sprays and so forth? What about those little strips -- any zero/low carb ones that work well?
I always carry mouthwash and usually a toothbrush, but it ain't always easy to brush & gargle before a meeting or whatever. Also, no matter where I go, I seem to be the only one who heads for the bathroom with this kind of stuff & I never really understood why.
No problem for me on consumption of fluids, I drink a lot of soda and water.
Q: Why do Eskimos rub noses? A: Its not the cold. Its the ketosis.

Most folks see their level of ketosis drop off after the second week. You're in your third week, hasn't it started to taper down for you yet? With lower intensity there's less need. If it is already gone down to its longer term lower level and you can still tell, be happy as that's more accurate than the sticks.

Sugar free gum has the added benefit of being a partial substitute for a toothbrush to clean teeth.

But it does put the issue into perspective. It's new and different for you now but it time it will be the old same-o-same-o.

Some claim that ketosis-breath is the result of eating too much protein. I'm not sure if it's true or not. I do know that it tends to fade over time.
Sugar-free gum is one option, but be careful there.
