  1. On last Monday, August 6th my daugther gave birth to a 6 lb 6 oz 21 inch
long baby boy. Only slightly premature (her due date was August 21). Both
are doing well and are quite healthy. They finally decided on a name for
the kid last night....Graham Alan Connor...So the kids monogram would be
    GACH.

Grand-dad has been out shopping and is scared of next month's Visa bill
that will occur from this endevour. Who knew baby clothes cost so much???
And figuring out baby sizes must be a lost art. Where can I buy a moose hat
and slippers? I feel a photo op in the making.

Congrats, granddad! You're better off buying babyclothes the next
size up from what your child is. My husband's first was a "real"
preemie, 32 weeks. They dressed him in doll clothes for a while.
He's 6'4 now, and about to get engaged.

2 weeks early is mainly a matter of a couple of pounds and some hair.
All the important stuff is fully formed. Give the cutie a nose nuzzle
    from me.

Congrats! You'll be having lots of fun with the new one. I remember my Visa
bills after my niece was born. Gawd!!! Word of advice. Never, EVER, shop
for the baby after a long, drunken lunch. One tends to spend way too much
on the tyke. Everything looks so cute after a couple of glasses of wine.

Forget the outfits, the bath pics are the blackmail fodder.........works
wonders whenever I get lip from the 24 year old.....just whip out the pics
of him being held in the baby bath sunny side up and he shuts right up.

Congratulations you to and your family.

Popping two weeks early can be a blessing. It is usually quite safe
for the baby and those last two weeks can be filled with anxiety,
discomfort and peeing every 10 minutes.
