I was reflecting on My Greatness the other night and I fainted dead away
from My Own Magnificence. I do not know how I got to be so Great, but here I
am for all you idiots, morons and imbeciles to enjoy.

Oh Great Ted (you don't mind if I call you Ted do you?), we are unworthy
to treadle upon the spittle of your greatness and prostrate ourselves
before you're worshipful scrotum. We illiterate peddlars can only look
up in wonder at the blinding glory of your chicken feathered greatness
and aspire, if only in small spart, to be the skid marks of your kegs.
So we beg you, nay, bessech you, to tell us, is the High Weasel Jim Beam
correct, or the upstart Gary Young. Our Lord and Master Jobst cannot
rule on this matter for fear of falling from grace.

    may call me Toss).

You guys should do as I did once, I called old Mr Ed on the phone.
From the sound of his voice, I thoght he was going to [censored] in his

Anybody need his home phone number??

Wow, for a clueless top-poster you really take this stuff seriously.

PS: As entertaining as ol' Ed can be, I finally plonked him due to the
sheer volume and verbosity of his posts. 'Nuff!

That also why you take Usenet to Real Life by calling the man and apparently
threatening him? (Why else would he "[censored] his pants"?)

    Get a clue, moron.

It's simple, Chris. It's wrong to escalate usenet conflicts into
real life. It's wrong to try to intimidate posters by offering
to reveal, release, or publicly post their real life info.

Hmmm, so far no phone calls from loons named chris

info isn't as easy to find as Ed's.

No, most people are delusional about the state of the world, and even
more about themselves. However, they are blessed, as the delusion is a
much better place to be than reality.

Once you see the potential for the human species if they learned to
cooperate, you can not but be disappointed in the real world.

The instinct for competition leads to 1% winners and 99% losers. But the
losers are mostly not aware of their condition or under the delusion
that they can join the winners.

P.S. What is this "follow-up to poster" all about?

It's an old trick to get you to e-mail him. Some spammers used
to troll groups to get valid addys. I think Chris uses it to get
contact info so that he may establish more intimate forms of
communication so that he may use his awesome powers of verbal
persuasion to change the hearts and minds of those with whom
he has disagreements. He almost had me admitting I was wrong
about something. I don't know what that something was, but
    I started having my doubts.

He could have made the call, but only got as far as the WH switchboard.
But it would still count as an awesome display of intimidation, because
his heart was in the right place, and somehow, some way, Bush would
