What are some of your favorites here?
Quoted message said:One of mine is Stanley's in Central Falls. It's a little hamburger joint,
and they make the best burgers around. Another place I like that's more
upscale is Tucker's in Newport. Anyone else?
I like TA on the Main St in Fall River. Great Portuguese influenced food.
Took some friends to Uncle Tony's the other day. They couldn't stop
raving about the food. (They're from Missouri, so it could be that it
was
simply good Italian).
Other places I take out-of-towners are Iggy's for seafood, Aunt
Carrie's
if they have the time to travel to South County (TINSC). Japanese is
definitely Haruki, and Indian has to be the place that used to be Taj
Mahal
over on Wickendon. We tried Rasoi the other day, and while the food
was
good--DH was thrilled to find okra--we felt that the old same place
was
still better. Hon's on Reservoir in Cranston is great Vietnamese, and
Galaxy,
also on Reservoir in Cranston, has the best Nim Chow.
Yeah, we like the relatively cheap places, under $10 per person.
Heading upscale from there, Yoko Bistro (google it, I've raved about
it
before) is good, but closer to $20 per person. Worth every penny.
