The temperature is in the hundreds today here in St Louis. Cold weather cycling gear just isn't on my mind. -
We're in the middle of winter here in New Zealand.
The temp is usually between 12 - 17 degree celcius here at the moment.
I'm a cold frog so thicker socks, tights(lighter weight or heavier) over shorts, Polartech top under longsleeved road jersey, Polartech gloves, lycra skull cover under helmet and I put clear duct tape over the holes in the front of my helmet.
If I'm riding early AM I put my booties on and a rain jacket - same if it looks like or is raining.Racing; usually just sports socks, shorts(or tights over), polartech top, longsleeved road jersey, mitts and skull cap.
